- In 1961, I graduated from Baptist Hospital School of Nursing fulfilling my life long desire to become a nurse. I married the love of my life, Eddie Lerding, in August 1962, giving him a good chance to tell the story to anyone who would listen - "I taught my wife when she was in the 8th grade."
- We have two children, Karin, born in 1965 and Eric, born in 1970. Karin lives happily in Chicago. Eric played varsity baseball for Louisville Male Traditional and sadly died at age 21 of brain cancer. We have no grandchildren, just a dog!
