- Charles Giles Crabtree, 86, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024.
- Giles is a graduate of Shawnee High School, attended college, served in the U.S Navy, retired from KTP Ford Motor Co., was a former member of Beth Haven Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School and drove the Church Bus. He was a member of Louisville Baptist Temple. He loved God with all his heart and was passionate about Missions and witnessing to all who would listen.
- He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Saratoga, CVA 60, 1955-1957.

- He was born on June 4, 1937 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Ollie and Edith (Gallagher) Crabtree . Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia J. Crabtree, his mother in-law, Eula Pullen (Harold), a cousin, Danny Adams, granddaughter, Sierra B. Morrison, and his brothers, Tim Crabtree, Robert Crabtree, John Crabtree, Ollie "Buster" Crabtree, Lawrence Crabtree, his niece, Diana Bauer, great niece Ashley Killkelly, nephews, John Lee Frech and Larry Crabtree, and his Theresa Crabtree.
- Giles is survived by his loving daughter, Marnie L. Crabtree-Morrison (Khris), grandchildren, Arianna C. Morrison, Jaden K. Morrison and Shanelle B. Morrison, his sister, Marjane (John) Frech, sister in-law, Sandra Sands, nieces and nephews, Jill (Scott) Wegenast, David Bauer, Robin (Ken) Cornetet, Mark Frech, Maleah Blair, James (Leslie) Frech and Joseph (Jessica) Frech, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, friends, fellow church members, and many others whose lives he touched.
- Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 26th at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 12:30 pm on Saturday, at Louisville Baptist Temple.
- A graveside service will be Monday, January 29, 2024, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, Central, 2501 N. Dixie Blvd. Radcliff, KY, beginning at 12:30pm.
