- I am married to Charles R. Thompson, a 1956 St. X graduate who retired from E.I. Dupont in 1994. He also was a police officer (Major) for the city of Pioneer Village in BullittCounty. He also served on the city council and was Mayor Pro-tem for several years. We have two sons, one Grand-daughter, three step Grand-children and six step Great-grandchildren.
- After high school I continued my education, worked full time and raised two sons.
- In 2000, after working as IS director for St.Joseph/Audubon Hospitals for twenty seven years and QA in the IS department for Jewish Hospital three years, I retired from full time employment. I have been working part-time the past four years for Lantech in an office postition.
- After my retirement I have enjoyed baby-sitting our eighteen month old grand-daughter (Amy Lynn) once a week for a play day. I also pride myself as being a professional shopper. "Shop til you drop"
- Staying active as travellers, we have taken approximately ten trips to Las Vegas. We have been on five cruises; one to south America, one to Alaska and three cruises to the Mexican Riviera. I also took a trip to Europe, visiting Paris and London for one week each. We have also taken two air trips to Mexico, and have taken several bus tours visiting various locations across the United States and Canada.
- I am a part time consultant for Longaberger, selling and collecting Longaberger baskets. As volunteers, my husband and I are in charge of the Greeters Ministery at Little Flock Baptist Church. I have also worked several years at election time at the polls.
