- Memories: Bobby Hepler, Steve Stigers and Bobby Higgins spending night at my house one night when we were 14 or 15 years old. About 1am we snuck out and went joy riding in my mom's 1950 Pontiac Rode allover West End. When we got back I applied the brakes a bit tardily so we hit the garage oor denting the grill and knocking the garage door off it's hinges. Next morning when my mother, Frances, discovered our little accident, we convinced her she had done it the day before. Really it was me doing the prevaricating, my cohorts were too honest. But they kept quiet
