- Jon L. Johnson 78, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021
- Family was very important to her. She was member of Summit Heights United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the Needlers group. She was a volunteer for the Fern Creek-Highview Ministries, attended veritas classes at Bellarmine University, liked to read, loved flowers and travel especially to New Smyrna Beach Florida.)
- She was preceded in death by her son, Thad Johnson; her parents, John and Alma Targonski; and a brother, Mike Targonski.
- She is survived by her loving husband for over 60 years, Bob L. Johnson; a daughter, Laura Nicklies (John); a grandson, John Nicklies Jr. (Angie Colyer); and a sister-in-law, Cathy Targonski.
- The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at Norton's Women's and Children's Hospital and the Hosparus inpatient unit at Norton Healthcare Pavilion.
- Her funeral service will be private with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 - 7 p.m. Friday at Embry-Bosse Funeral Home, 2723 Preston Highway
