- Enlisted in the US Army in Jun 60 and served tours with the 8 Inf Div in Germany, 1 Inf Div in Vietnam, and 2 Inf Div in Korea. Retired in Oct 80 as a Master Sergeant. From 81 through 87 worked as a Detective for the Army and Air Force Exchange Service with duty stations in Kaiserslautern and Karlsruhe, Germany.
- In late 87 switched to the Civil Service as an Army Civilian and assigned as a Military Training Technician with 1PERSCOM at Frankfurt and Rhein-Main Air Base, Germany.
2009
- In Oct 04, as a result of the return of Rhein-Main AB to German control, reassigned to the US at FT Jackson, SC. Current (and final) assignment is with TRADOC’s Basic Combat Training Center of Excellence.
- Two sons, Frank who lives in Luzern, Switzerland + granddaughter Chantal and David who lives in Birkenfeld, Germany.
