- I thought that I should update my bio, so here goes.
- Graduated from Hampton University, VA in 1965, majoring in Early Childhood Education and minors in Sociology and Elementary Education. I have taught 1st grade, transitional first, fourth and sixth grades in Whittier, CA and Hazel Crest, IL. I am currently teaching middle school American History in Hampton, VA. I am finishing up my masters degree from Longwood University. Recently, I was inducted in Phi Kappa Phi honor society at Longwood; and inducted into Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. in Newport News,VA.
2005
- I have been married to Matt Taylor for the past 39 years and am the parent to two great children-Matthew III, and Malaika; and the grandparent to two wonderful grandaughters-Maya age 7 and Autumn age 10.
