- Murdoch, Janice Lurane (Hodges), 72 of York, England, formerly of Louisville, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2014 after a long and courageous battle with cancer
- Her husband of 44 years, Richard John Murdoch, survived her by 24 hours. Their very special daughter, Kirsten Murdoch, of Market Weighton, England survives to cherish their memories. Other survivors include her sister, Mary Webb, sisters-in-law, Eva Hodges, Evelyn Hodges and Lyne Hodges; and numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
- Janice was born November 5, 1942 in DePauw, IN, to the late McDonald and Macie Hodges. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Bill, Don, Bob and Frank Hodges. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved travel, arts and crafts, all music, especially classical, reading and being a homemaker.
