- Diana Reid Hepler 80, of Louisville, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 in the care of Hosparus at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville, KY.
- Diana was born on September 16,1941 in Louisville,KY. She was a 1959 graduate of Shawnee HS, and married the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Hepler in1961. Prior to the birth of her first child, she was a legal secretary who went onto become a quintessential housewife. Later in life she again worked as a legal secretary for patent and trademark attorney, Hal Thomas, ultimately retiring from working in the office of Dr. Mike Davis.
- Diana was a snowbird and sun worshipper who turned tanning into an art. She was an avid reader with a penchant for love, crime and mystery stories. Her favorite book, however, was "The Merck Manual" earning her the nickname Doc Hep. She adored babies and small children, caring for her grandchildren and others. Her gardening talents were extraordinary.
- She was preceded in death by her son, Robby Hepler.
- She is survived by her husband, Robert"Bob" Hepler; daughter, Susan R.Weber and son, Wade R. Hepler; grandchildren, Jake Weber(Asha), Lucas Weber(Lauren) and Hannah Hepler; and great grandchildren, Beau and Mack Weber.
- Visitation will be 3pm-8pm Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Owen Funeral Home - Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road. Funeral service 11am Thursday, October 7, 2021, at the funeral home, followed by burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.
