- Sarah "Jane" Maggard, age 72, passed away Friday, January 30th surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer..
- Born April 9, 1942 in Auburn, KY, she attended U of Kentucky where she met her husbamd, Jim Maggard. They moved to Hermitage in 1977. Jane worked for over 20 years with TSPE and CET, she was a camper and volunteer with Camp Bluebird as well as being an active member of St. Philip's Episcopal Church and their support organizations. She was an avid nature and animal lover with zest for life and love of travel.
- She was preceded in death by her parents Orion Givens Gilliam and Mary Frances Gilliam, and son Christopher Maggard. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, James F. Maggard, daughter Melissa Maggard and brother Marion Gilliam.
- Visitation will be Friday 5:30 - 8 pm with service Saturday 10 am at St. Philip's Episcopal Church - 85 Fairway Dr. Nashvile, TN. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Philip's Episcopal Church or Camp Bluebird Nashville
