A Louisville native and lifelong resident, Bill was a graduate of Shawnee High School. Bill continued his education at the University of Kentucky and later transferred to the University of Louisville where he earned his degree in Business and became a passionate fan and supporter of Cardinal Athletics.

For more than 40 years, Bill was a global executive in the air filtration industry and dedicated his career to the success of AirGuard Industries and its employees. Bill’s career at AirGuard afforded him the opportunity to travel the globe. Most notable was the time he spent in the Middle Eastern countries of Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Kuwait.

Upon retirement, Bay Colony Club in Ft. Lauderdale, FL became Bill’s second home. A life-long fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Bill participated in the ball club’s fantasy camp and the team’s spring training games in Ft Lauderdale. During his retirement, Bill became a voracious reader and devoured several books each week.

An avid horseracing fan, Bill considered himself an unofficial ambassador of the Kentucky Derby, often attending with family and friends to witness the fastest two minutes in sports and share one of his favorite days of the year.
