  • Carol Robert “C.R.” Poulter, 78, of Paoli, Indiana, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018. He enjoyed hunting deer, fishing, and golfing. Carol was on the council of the Wildwood Association and also served as secretary. He proudly served for the Army National Guard and was a member of Little Mission Church.
  • Carol was born on June 17, 1940, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late William B. and Clarice P. (Weber) Poulter. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his half-brother, Ralph Poulter.
  • Carol is survived by his wife of 26 years, Thelma Poulter; children, Shane Stone, Jaime Hartfield (Jeff), Ronald Wooten and Rhonda Wooten; grandchildren, Scott, Brandon and Dakota Hartfield, Skylar Stone, Dallas, Tiffany, Brock, and Taylor Wooten; great grandchildren, Adelynn Hartfield and Zane Hurley; sisters, Marolyn Etheridge (Jim) and Virginia Gregory.
  • Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Little Mission Church (5226 South County Road 640 East, Hardinsburg, Indiana 47125) with his Funeral Service following at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Patoka Memorial Cemetery in French Lick, Indiana.
