  • Louisville, passed away Friday, November 9, 2018. He graduated with a Bachelor Degree from the University of Louisville and in addition, 42 hours of Law School. Carl Ray was Captain with the Louisville Police Department, retiring after 27 years of service.
  • He was also a member of Swigart Masonic Lodge #218 F&AM, the Elks Lodge #8, and a life-long member of FOP Lodge #614. Carl Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Carl O. and Ann Buch Lindeman; and his brother, Robert Lee Lindeman.
  • Carl Ray is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Hilda S. Lindeman; sister, Ann Tross; step-son, William F. Case, Jr. (Volinda); step-grandson, Matthew Case; nephew, Stuart Tross (Linda); several other nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
  • Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 and also from 9 to 11 am Wednesday at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals &Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. A celebration of Carl Ray's life will follow at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
