They currently own and operate a bed and breakfast in a guest house on their 6.5 acre property, Pinecrest Cottage and Gardens. They are avid gardeners and have created a dozen perennial flower beds and 3 ponds since moving to Pinecrest 9 years ago. Pinecrest is designated a Backyard Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation.

Nancy is retired as a Registered Records Administrator (RRA) by profession and retired as private consultant to nursing facilities in Medical Records and as a Licensing Inspector of healthcare facilities for the Kentucky Department for Human Resources. She is member of the Board of Directors of the Louisville Orchestra, member of the Board of Directors of Whitehall Historic Home and Gardens, a member of the Oratorio Chorus at the Southern Baptist Seminary, and a 26-year member of the Motet Singers of Louisville, KY.
