  • Retired from U.S. Army Armor School, Supervisory Program Manager, Training Simulation - 30 years
  • Subsequently, served as minister. ( And periods as pastor) at Valley Station Community of Christ
  • Have 3 sons, 1 grandson, 6 granddaughters

2000

  • Richard is married to Ruth Naomi Lowman and they have three sons, Mark, 39, Douglas, 37, and Paul, 36. They also have six grandchildren, Brooke, 10, Hannah, 7, Jacob, 6, Kelsie, 4, Emily, 3, and Jaclyn, 2. Also another girl is due in November.
  • He is a retired federal program manager (training simulator development) for the U.S. Army Armor School at Fort Knox.
  • He is also pastor of Valley Station Community of Christ and enjoys "reading, grandchildren, and birdwatching. The last two are similar - ha!"
