- John Robert "Bob" Meadows, 52, Lexington, died Friday at St. Joseph Hospital there. He was a native of Louisville; a vice president and branch manager of Whayne Supply Co. in Lexington, where he worked 28 years; a member of the U.S. Army Honor Guard Caisson Section; and a graduate of the University of Kentucky. Survivors: his wife, the former Betty Robinson; a son, John M. Meadows of Lexington; his parents, John B. and Freda Mellett Meadows of Lexington; a brother, Thomas G. Meadows of Lexington; and three sisters, Donna Meadows Hatter of West Bloomfield, Mich., Cynthia Meadows Williams of Lexington and Janice Meadows Wiegandt. Funeral: 1 p.m. Monday, Kerr Bros. Funeral Home, Lexington. Burial: Lexington Cemetery. Visitation 4-7 p.m. Sunday. Memorial gifts: charity.
