- MARTIN, JOE , JR., 62, of Louisville, died Saturday, June 11, 2005, at his residence. He was a retired attorney, a former member of the Louisville Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association and Kosair Shrine. He is survived by his daughter, Jole Burghy and her husband, Daniel, and a close friend, Van Stinnett. His funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., with burial in Leitchfield (KY) Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Kosair Charities.
