married to Karen Garrett. They have three daughters,
Laura, Amy, and Mary Beth.

is retired from General Electric as a manager after
having worked in Louisville, Cincinnati, Kansas City, and
then Louisville again.

He spends his time taking care of
his house and property, following college sports, and
reading.
