    1942- 2000

    Jesse Ray Haven, 59 of London, formerly of Louisville, died Friday at his home.

    He was a native of Beaver Dam, and employee of CSX Railroad and a member of Parkway Church of God.

    Surviors: daughters Angela M. Tims and Cynthia K. and Laura J. Haven; sisters Diane Daughtery and Rosalie Sandman; and four grandchildren.

    Funerals: 7 p.m. Monday, House-Rawlings Funeral Home, London and 1 p.m. Tuesday, Arch L. Heady Á Son, 7710 Dixie Highway. Burial: Louisville Memoral Gardens West. Visitation: House-Rawlings Funeral Home, after 6 p.m. Monday and at Arch L. Heady after noon Tuesday

  • Information below given prior to 40th SHS Class of 1960 reunion.
  • Jesse was married to Sharon Middleton. They had three daughters, Cynthia, Angela, and Laura, and four grandchildren, Chris, Aaron, Kenny, and Emily.
  • Jesse was unable to attend the 40th reunion because of poor health. He passed away November 10, 2000. Sharon said they "appreciated the 'Thinking of You' card sent to him at reunion time."
  • In the Courier Journal, Sunday, May 13, 2001,  in the section entitled "Toxic Workplace" there was a picture of Jesse during his workplace illness which took his life November 10, 2000. During the time of the reunion his wife asked that we not disclose how sick he was, however this became public information.
