- age 75, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016. Wendell was born June 23, 1940 at Magnolia, Kentucky to the late David T. and Esther O. Kirkpatrick Ragland. He was a self employed horticulturist and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Louisville, Ky.
- Surviving are his wife, Patricia S. Purma Ragland; Sons: D. Sean Ragland (Becky) of Louisville, KY, Shannon P. Ragland (Denise) Louisville, KY; Stepson: Stephan P. Wallace of Prospect, KY; Stepdaughter: Cheryl L. Dunne of Louisville, KY; Brother: Michael Ragland (Judy) of Shelbyville, KY; Grandchildren: Woodford, Sydney and Reese Ragland; and Step-Grandchildren: Christopher Wallace (Katie) and Noah W. Dunne.
- Cremation was chosen and there will be no visitation or funeral.
- Swarens Funeral Home, Ramsey, IN was in charge of the arrangements.
