1961 Married John Vance No Children Divorced 1968

1969 Met a Naval Aviator, tall dark & handsome (the love of my life) and spent the next 25 exciting years with him. Ask me about our shipwreck in the Bahamas 8/23/74. We traveled a lot and had fun seeing the world. All this, and managed to hold down a job too. If it could be done, --we did it! And "First Class".

1995 A blind date became my next husbaand. A Retired Navy Captain. He also managed to hold down two jobs at once for much of his life. As he would say, he was "An Intel Wiene", also did a stint with the CIA, and taught Criminology at Indiana University for some years. Not a boring man! We married in 1998 had much fun. Our time together was short as he had a massive heart attack two days after 9/11/01

And now you know why I'm happy to sit together with a glass of wine and a book!

Made a lot of money for the engineering school and made graduate students happy who benefited from the Grant Funds. It was a win/win situation and I moved on knowing I left everyone in the Engineering School smiling.

  • Achievements
Upon turning 50, went back to school and three years later received my two year degree as a Legal Assistant (Paralegal). This was done while holding down two jobs and taking care of my elderly mother. This was very rewarding to me. I never was able to put my new skills to use, as by that time I was very involved in the credit card world and working toward the sale of our company.
