Rosie Goldsmith Fisher

     

  • Rosie is married to Thomas Fisher and they live in Montogomery, Texas. They have two children, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
  • She writes, " Tom and I married in December 1958 and moved to Bangor, Maine where he was stationed in the Air Force. We remained in Maine four years until he was reassigned to Columbus, Mississippi. While in Columbus I attended college and worked for the local television station. Tom separated from the Air Force and took a flight postion with Delta Airlines. After training in Atlanta we moved back to Mississippi. During our four years in Columbus we had a daughter, Mary Ellen and a son Thomas Andrew. We moved to Houston, Texas in 1969.
  • "My hobby has always been antiques so during our time in Houston I owned and operated "Rose's Relics and Antiques". I also continued to attend the University of Houston.

  • "Tom and I transferred to the Boston, Mass. area in 1976. While living in Mass. I completed my degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I taught in the public schools and had a small practice. I currently work part-time as a Speech-Language Pathologist at an Early Childhood Intervention - Birth to Three years - program.
  • "I currently spend my time between our cottage in Maine in the summer and our home in Texas, I love to garden, play cards, read, and take an active interest in our church."
