  • Darlene Yvonne Miller, 82, passed away on July 20, 2022. She retired from Jefferson County School Systems and was a member of Harvest Baptist Church.
  • She was preceded in death by her parents, John L. and Anna Mae Garrett and her brother, John L. "Johnny" Garrett, Jr.

 

 

 

 

  • Darlene leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Tony Martin, Dana Martin and Tamara Miller-Hedden; grandchildren, Jeremy Martin, Chris Martin, Ashley McMahan and Jessie Medley, III; great-grandchildren, Levi, John, Arian, William, Henry and Arthur; sister, Joyce Milliner; niece, Tracey (Bruce) Smith and nephew, Rob (Angie) Milliner.
  • Visitation will be at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 3pm-8pm. A celebration of Darlene's life will be Friday, July 29, 2022, at the funeral home beginning at 1pm.
  • Darlene will be laid to rest at Bethany Cemetery, 10917 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY.
